Cat Of The Month – April

I’m ashamed to say that I forgot about Cat Of The Month.

So I will just do it right now! I totally forgot about it with all the things going on in my life. Excuse me! It was Queensday as well that day!

Congratulations, Nelson!

This five-year old gorgeous cat is named Nelson,  he is a domestic semi-long haired cat. He lives together with Marilia his owner and four others cat in the beautiful Brazil! I bet the weather is better there than it is here.

Nelson is the firstborn, the alpha-cat of the house. He is very fluffy, friendly, curious, nosy and he is very affectionate. He is not afraid of any visitors, and he loves to take part in all events from home.

From all the pictures that are sent in, I will pick out one cat that will be the “Cat of the Month” and I will put him up in this blog, with the picture you have sent in together with the information.

So what do you have to do?

The Cat of the Month, March is Yadi!

Congratulations, Yadi!

Yadi is a little boy from Belgium, who lives together with his owner Kim. He will turn 7 in April (Happy early birthday, Yadi!).

His breed is unknown, but that doesn’t matter. He’s still cute, no matter what.

But Yadi is allergic to almost everything, which means he needs to be taken for a shot very often. It’s so bad they’re hardly ever change his food because he can get an allergic reaction if they do.

He’s loves interrupting you when you’re busy, and lays down on your papers or the keyboard. He refuses to drink from his own bowl, but instead he drinks out of a decorative bowl with pearls and seashells. Hmm… Some crazy cat Yadi is.

He dominates the backyard, where there are no others cats around, but instead he loves to harass other cats. But Yadi also loves to show his owners that he loves them by bringing home gifts. He once brought home a mouse, during the winter. It froze stuck to the ground, so they had to wait a long time before they could remove the little corpse…

Yadi also dislikes males, whether it be humans or animals. But Kim is most favorite person in the world. He even picks her up from the bus stop sometimes.

So let’s see which furball I found in my mailbox! But just like last time, I haven’t really been advertising this. I’m lazy, too busy, or just not really thinking about it. I’ll try to do this different next month.

 This grey kitty is called Charm. This lady is two years old, and from Oklahoma, the United States. With her owner Zack, and two boys who she easily outweigh by five pounds. She is some sort of long-hair breed and Every morning at 4 AM (and 5 AM, and sometimes 2 AM) she pounds on the bedroom door of her owners so she can be let it, sleep on their backs or chests, purr like crazy, and be petted.  Otherwise,  she doesn’t tolerate petting of any sort.

Cat Of The Month – January

It’s time again for the Cat Of The Month!

Last time it was Jimmie Chew, So let’s see what kitty I picked this time. I admit, I haven’t really been advertising it around on my blog. I blame my laziness.

January, the beginning of the year 2012. Who will it be?

IT’S PILLOW!

This picture was taken when he was very little, and his owner Patricia used to give him kitten baby milk in a bottle. Oh how he loved this bottle!

Pillow is 9 months by now, and he’s a beautiful Chartreux! He has an incredible passion for food and when there is a plate of food on any table, there is Pillow! He also has a brother, Cookie. Who is 8 months old.

One of his favorite sleeping places – at the top of a sofa.

They all live in the third biggest town in Sweden, in Scandinavia. And Patricia also has her own blog. It’s filled with cats and cuteness! A Cat’s Life.

It’s still December 31 for me, but I know it’s probably already 2012 for some of you!

It’s Jimmie Chew!

Jimmie is about 6 months old. His breed is unknown, but that doesn’t make him less cute. I mean, Isn’t he adorable?

His hobbies are: Chewing shoes, doing tricks for treats, trying to break into cat show biz, bothering brother Fin (not Darnell, he gets mad). And he lives with his mom and two brothers Fin and Darnell in Montclair, NJ, The United States.

It’s the end of the month again – Or actually the very last day. And that means that it’s time for “Cat Of the Month“.

I have to say, that I had a really hard time choosing who it was going to be. So many cute photo’s, cute stories, my inbox was filled with cuteness. Not that I mind, oh no, not at all.

Bubba!

Meet Bubba

 Rumpy Dog submitted a picture of his kitty. Wait-  It’s not really his kitty, it’s DeDe’s kitty.

Rumpy Says;
“Bubba is 14 years old and has lived with Jen since he was rescued by a co-worker when he was about 6 weeks old.”

Bubba was rescued? Good job! It’s a real heart-warming picture.

Rumpy continues;
“Bubba used to be best friends with our Labrador Lucky.  After Lucky went to the Rainbow Bridge, Bubba began hanging out with DeDe.  You can rest assured that if DeDe is inside, Bubba is somewhere close by.”

Bubba isn’t a regular contributor at Rumpy’s blog, but he does make an occasional appearance.
It’s nice to meet you, Bubba, and I hope you’re happy to be ‘Cat of The Month’. Because you deserve it!

Cat Of The Month! – October

It’s time for the Cat Of The Month!

And this month we have a real queen in the spotlights!

 This is Annie, an adorable tabby that isn’t that innocent as she looks. Her owner Rose says she is bitchy, anti-social and obsessed with cheese and other human food. That sounds like a normal cat to me! This gorgeous lady is a real cat-queen and from the USA! Now that’s pretty far – at least for me. I’m sure Annie loves Rose a lot, even though she is a bit bitchy. But aren’t most cats? Anyway, It’s Annie that is the cat of the month!
