Back in 2012, scientists and psychologists went looking for those specific characteristics that defines the ‘cat lovers’. It’s not that boring as it sounds like! In fact, I thought it was sort of interesting.
The Cat People
From the results the researches found out that the cat lovers are more open to new situations and experiences and things like adventure and unusual ideas, but have less self-discipline. They also aren’t a big fan of working in a team, and may not always have enough assertiveness. A second study ads that people with a better diploma, will most often end up with a kitty instead of a dog. Long work-hours go better with a cat than with a dog.
And in comparison to dog people, cat people tend to be a bit more neurotic. But cat owners also tend to be a bit introvert. We aren’t very dominant, and seem to be fairly trusting — which I think is good. Studies also show that we, cat lovers, tend to be less social. But I highly disagree with that one!
