A Furry Diary – Feeling Much Better!

New years day Suki & Hiro didn’t really wanted to eat, so I had to force it on them. But when the firework really stopped they became more relaxed. They have been eating again everything since Thursday and both the kitties don’t seem that scared anymore. What a drama firework can bring to those furballs! Suki hasn’t thrown up anymore, Hiro doesn’t hide under the couch anymore or ice-bear through the room. I don’t mean to sound negative, but I’m partly happy the holidays are over!

Yesterday when I got home I saw Limbo Kitty dying to get inside. Sitting in front of the door meowing. I let him inside, so he could eat some from the food that his ‘owner’ has left outside for him. He was too hungry to look up at me, but he was purring while eating when I gave him some attention.

This morning around 6:30 when I was feeding the cats I saw something sitting in the gallery in front of the door. Suki noticed it too and became all curious and a bit frustrated over the unknown cat-smell. It was Limbo, I recognized blurred figure through the barely see-through glass in the door. I couldn’t let him in, Suki refused to leave the door, and last time he invited himself in, we found fleas the days after that. Not sure if it were his, but it might be a good idea to give him some anti-flea stuff. But it still breaks my heart to see him so lonely, like he’s waiting for something that will never come. You know what I mean?

  1. oh, poor Limbo. like all cats, he knows there’s a good soul behind your door. whatever little attention you give him is more than he could ever want. i’m sure he’s happy enough just to be close to you.

  2. Ice-Bear? LOL. Poor Limbo. Maybe you can give him some flea drops just so you can let him in once in a while. If the other kitties will allow it. ;) I LOVE the close-up shots you take of the kitties. Wish mine would let me all up in their grill with a camera.
