A Furry Diary - Another Cat

No, no, I didn’t get another cat! Suki wouldn’t approve of that — Hiro would. No, it’s because this time A Furry Diary will be about another cat. And you might have seen him before in an earlier post: What Would You Do?

I gave the neighbor cat a brush, because her/his tail was full of velcro. So when I saw her/him waiting at the door on Friday evening, I decided to get a brush and hope the kitty would still be there when I got back. Because last time I had to go upstairs to get a brush, she/he was gone. So since Friday I’m keeping a small cat brush in my bag, haha.

I had to pet her/him first, see if she/he trusted me enough to go on her belly. And guess what, she/he did! Tho, she/he was sending off mixed messaged. The cat was sweeping her tail, yet she was purring and wanting me to pet her more… So I was extra careful.

The brushing went well, she/he really seemed to enjoy it, until I got to brush her tail, to get the velcro out. The cat didn’t really seemed to like that. Maybe it was hurting, I’m not sure. So I brushed her carefully, and eventually got the velcro out. And brushed the rest of the body. She/he seemed pretty thankful, and she/he had a lot of loose hair. But the cat liked it, and it was like she/he was craving for some attention! So I think I did a good job.

Oooh, she/he was purring so loud!
